Counseling Services

Support That Makes a Difference

Here at HSC, we don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach. We do our best to get to know and understand our clients. Our goal is to customize our therapeutic approach for each individual's needs. Find out more about our services below!

During our initial meeting we will discuss your specific areas of concern as well as assess if we are the right client/therapist fit. From here, we will be able to create your personalized treatment plan and discuss how it can best work into your day-to-day life.

Individual Counseling

Counseling specialized towards the individual and your unique needs.

We offer assistance with various life difficulties, transition, adjustments, and relational hardships.  We utilize scientifically-validated modalities that are proven to improve a variety of issues, including; depression, stress, anxiety, personality disorders, bipolar depression, panic disorders, addiction issues, and more.

Couples Counseling

Counseling specialized to help you improve your relationship.

Do you feel distant from your partner? Has the passion or intimacy gone from your relationship and now you're left with a cycle of emotional pain that you're desperate to stop?  We offer evidence-based therapies which help to end the negative cycles and rekindle the deep, meaningful intimacy that has been lost over time.

Child/Adolescent Counseling

Counseling specialized for children and adolescents dealing with rough family transitions, depression, anxiety stress, and behavioral difficulties.

Does your child struggle to make friends in school?  Maintain attention?  Respect authority?  We offer behavioral and parenting help for parents and children with common, non-violent behavior issues.  We are also able to work with young people to improve their social skills, behaviors, and interpersonal skills.

Family Counseling

Counseling specialized for you and your family.

Does something feel off about the way your family has been getting along lately? Has your family gone through a major change or struggling with a loss or transition? Does your once happy family feel disengaged, going in separate directions? We offer family therapy which specifically pinpoints and addresses the systemic issue facing your family unit; and using gentle techniques, guide your family back on track.

“Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions.”

Rates and Insurance

Rates: Rates differ depending on licensure.

Level III Therapist (LPC):  $120 per session.

Level II Therapists (LPCC - Candidates under supervision): $80 per session.

Insurance:

Each therapist at HSC accepts different insurances. Click here to view which insurance your therapist accepts. Keep in mind, there may be reasons not to use insurance for therapy, such as privacy, co-pays, deductibles, choosing your own therapist, etc.

Most insurance plans require a "co-pay" or "co-insurance" paid by the client for each service. Some will also have a deductible or amount a client must spend before receiving benefits. It is always best to verify this amount prior to your first visit so you have an idea of your out-of-pocket costs. You can do this by calling the number listed on your insurance card and asking them about your coverage for mental health services.

If you do not have insurance, know that we strive to provide affordable therapy to you and your family, and will work with you to find cost-effective options.

Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECEIVE A “GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE” EXPLAINING HOW MUCH YOUR MEDICAL CARE WILL COST.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

-You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

-Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

-If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
